Put simply, self-compassion is simply treating yourself with the same kindness, concern, and support you'd show a good friend. So, why is it so difficult? What are some of the obstacles to self-compassion? Is there a way we can train ourselves in self-compassion? In this session, Ven. Tenzin discusses why it’s so difficult to give ourselves the same kindness and compassion that we would a friend, and will also introduce us to a short self-compassion practice that we can take into our daily lives to increase our happiness and well-being.
